Motor Accident Tasmania (TAS)
Tasmania has a no fault scheme in place, however if you are able to show that your injury was as a result of negligence by another person, you may be able to seek general damages, i.e. compensation for the 'pain & suffering'.
There are some exclusions to these benefits. If you feel that there may be some reason as to why you may not qualify, contact Legal Injury today and we will talk you through it - something may be able to be done!
In order to make a claim in Tasmania, you must first report the accident to the Police. In the event you do not report this to the police, you may not be eligible for any benefits. You will then need to make a claim to the MAIB.
