Motor Accident South Australia (SA)
In South Australia, Allianz Australia is the sole claims manager for the state. Allianz Australia acts on behalf of the Motor Accident Commission of South Australia for all claims where a person has been injured in a motor vehicle accident involving a South Australian registered vehicle.
South Australia has contracted Allianz Australia to handle all claims under their Compulsory Third Party (CTP) scheme.
You are entitled to make a claim if you are injured in a motor vehicle accident and the owner or driver of the vehicle at fault is registered in South Australia, or if you are injured in a motor vehicle accident in which the vehicle at fault is South Australian registered.
The CTP scheme of South Australia covers:- drivers not at fault
- passengers
- cyclists
- pedestrians
- other road users
You have three (3) years to make a claim, however we suggest you lodge the claim as soon as possible to get it underway.
